Ah, who can forget the first time when very small you have seen the famous cinema Le Rough Ballon, eh? So sweet to call up a child in your heart this film by Albert Lamorisse.

Here I am in the title rôle: I am the Rough Ballon, but although I am rough on the street I am so gentle to every little child I meet. See how kind I am to little Pascal Lamorisse even though he tug and tug and I cry out in pain. But if I were to meet him now and he were to tug and tug not so gentle on my little string — now that he is rough man of 58 years — why then I may not be so kind! Perhaps a little rough, henh?
